Tom Milich has been coaching swmming for over 30 years. His experience extends from high school level to U.S. Olympic and World Championship teams. For 15 years he was the head coach of the Clovis Swim Club. In 2007, he moved to the Central Coast. Tom's award winning career has brought success to thousands of swimmers of all skill levels and ages. His ability to set the pace and standards for all our swimmers is the key to the Swim Club's success.

Assistant Head Coach
Phil is also the current Cal Poly Assistant Head Women's and Men's Swimming and Diving Coach (since 2001).
While earning his degree at Cal Poly in Biological Sciences, Phil was a standout swimmer for the Mustangs from 1999-2001. At Cal Poly, he specialized in the breaststroke and individual medley events. During the two years he swam for the Mustangs, he had top team finishes in the 200 breaststroke and 400 IM events. He also placed in the top eight at the Big West Championships twice in the 200 breaststroke and 400 IM events. Phil also earned Big West Player of the Week honors in the 2000-2001 season.
Prior to coming to Cal Poly, Phil swam with St. Lawrence Swim Team, Santa Clara Swim Club, DeAnza Cupertino Aquatics, and Yale University. Phil also swam with the San Luis Obispo Swim Club in his summer seasons while at Cal Poly.
Phil previously served as a coach for DeAnza Cupertino Aquatics from 1997-2001 and Laurelwood Cabana Club in 1998. In his years of coaching, he has coached numerous swimmers from the local Junior Olympic level up through the National and Olympic Trial level.
A student of the sport, Phil has served as the athlete representative to the Pacific Swimming Board of Directors (from 1995-1997), is currently a USA Swimming Stroke and Turn Official, NFHS Starter/Referee, and was most recently a stroke and turn official at the 2012 CIF-SS Division 1, 2, & 4 Swimming Championships.
